The 5th UnderGround Film Festival takes place in Cork City from August 22nd to 29th. Venues such as Camden Palace, The Vision Centre and The Clarion Hotel will host 122 films from around the globe.
The newly renamed UnderGround Film Festival is now competitive not just for short films but also for features too with new Irish and International feature film categories!
There will be a host of fantastic screenings with dedicated categories for Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Sci-Fi/Horror, Experimental, Animation, Spanish, National, International. Centre stage of course is our wonderful selection of Local shorts.
This year the Underground Film Festival will honour veterans of the Irish Film Industry, Director Terry McMahon and Actress Victoria Smurfit.
