Courtmacsherry

This village set along the shoreline with a backdrop of attractive woodlands looks out on Courtmacsherry Bay and is a noted deep sea angling centre. It also provides the base for a Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Lifeboat. The village of Courtmacsherry has many fine pubs and restaurants with local entertainment nightly.

Shore and river fishing, wind surfing, golf, walking and horse riding opportunities abound in this attractive area.

Courmacsherry lies midway between the old head of Kinsale and the Seven Heads on the rugged West Cork coast and is approximately 25 miles from the City.The village hosts a number of festivals & events every year, including the Courtmacsherry Sandbank Races and Courtmacsherry Storytelling Carnival.
