Visit and Fall in Love
Come and visit the Donkey Sanctuary in Liscarroll outside Mallow and fall in love with the beautiful donkeys that live there! You are invited to explore our walkways and picturesque surroundings while meeting donkeys and mules that were rescued and are now enjoying sanctuary.
There is no admission fee and free parking but you have the option to donate or to adopt a donkey (don’t worry, you won’t have to bring them home with you!). The Donkey Sanctuary is a refuge for donkeys in need across the country, and has taken in over 4,300 donkeys since it first opened in 1987.
People of all ages will enjoy the feel good factor at this unique experience, especially younger kids. By adopting a donkey, they will then have yet another reason to come back to Cork in the future to make sure their new pet is doing well. The donkeys love the attention and affection they get from visitors, meaning you are sure to enjoy a fun
afternoon out in the fresh air when visiting all the resident characters at the Donkey Sanctuary.
