Donemark Rise is a Luxurious Bed and Breakfast with bright modern rooms, situated in peaceful garden surroundings with hill views along the coastal driving route – the Wild Atlantic Way. 3km from Bantry town center, on N71 to Glengarriff .

Donemark Rise Bed and Breakfast is a family run B&B with four comfortable and stylish bedrooms for guests. The rooms come with an en suite bathroom with free toiletries and tea/coffee facilities.

A delicious and varied breakfast menu is served daily. Breakfast is prepared with free range eggs from their own hens and organic produce is also used from the gardens, all other food is sourced in the local West Cork area (where possible).

The bed and breakfast features a shared garden and lounge area, where guests can rest and relax in the seating area with TV.

There is an on-site secure room to store any bulky gear for hill walkers, cyclists, and golfers. Packed lunches can also be arranged on request.

Cork Airport is 82 km away from the property. Bantry Pier is a 6-minute drive from the property, where guests are able to take a ferry to Whiddy Island. Donemark Rise B&B is a 16-minute drive from Glengarriff Nature Reserve.

Donemark Rise Hill Walking Packages

Day one: Sheeps Head  Way Walk 2-5 hour (tailored to wishes and abilities of the walker)

Day 2: Carriganass Castle loop (Shron na gaoithe and poc an tairbh) walk or Kealkil  to glengarriff  -walk,  again  2 -5 hrs

Other routes can be arranged as there are numerous options eg. the St finbarrs way  – the Beara peninsula, Island walks – all locally and with breathtaking views.

Evening meals can be arranged in one of the many excellent restaurants and bar food options in Bantry  (price not included) .
