Arriving in to Cork airport, you will pick up your car before heading towards stunning West Cork. Baltimore is your picturesque base is a well established shark fishing and deep sea angling centre in Ireland. The journey is a straight forward 90 minute drive through picturesque villages and towns such as Rosscarbery, Clonakilty and Skibbereen. The village offers a choice of atmospheric pubs and fine restaurants.
On day two of your short break you will leave Baltimore Harbour and motor 7 miles out to sea out pass the infamous Fastnet Rock towards Cape Clear. This is a full 8 hour day and shark angling is done on a catch and release basis. That night you can regale each other with stories in some of the fine Baltimore pubs where chat and craic are always in abundance.
On your final day say farewell to West Cork and be sure to leave plenty of time for your return to the airport as there are lots of interesting stop points along the route back to the airport.
